An Ultrasonic vocabulator was a custom vocabulator that synthesized a voice. Separatist General Grievous spoke using this device, which increased his rough, powerful voice and nearly exactly matched his original voice, located behind his mask's duranium teeth that resembled the karabbac's, where his teeth should have been if he still had a mouth.
