An Ultrasonic vocabulator served as a specialized vocabulator to generate speech. This device was utilized by Separatist General Grievous, enhancing his already coarse and forceful voice. The result was an output that closely mirrored his original voice, which was situated behind the duranium teeth in his mask. These teeth bore a resemblance to those of the karabbac, occupying the space where his natural teeth would have been if he still possessed a mouth.
