Hello jSarek. I'm currently working, among other things, on the Thranta Rider article. Unfortunately, two of the few sources on them were part of the Star Wars Hyperspace privileges. I wondered whether anyone who was part of it at the time still has access to the online articles despite the service being discontinued. If it weren't the case, I guess I'd have to stop expanding the Thranta Rider article, since too much information is missing. --LelalMekha (talk) 16:37, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
Hey, JSarek. I have a request for ya. Now that we're at 100,000 articles (hooray!), I'm planning on writing an article for Wookieepedia NewsNet reflecting on the early days of the Wook and how we got this far. I've already asked both Riff and WhiteBoy if I can interview them, but I'm hoping that I collect some of your thoughts, too. I know that you were very active in helping get the site off the ground, and I'm wondering if I can ask you some questions about the Wook's early days and include your responses in the article. Let me know! The article's shaping up to be something like this rather than a straight question-and-answer thing. I could ask you questions here or via e-mail. Thanks, and have a good day! Menkooroo (talk) 15:18, January 12, 2013 (UTC)
- Great. Thanks so much. I've contacted a whole whack of people, both here and on TFN, but the questions I'm asking you, Riff, and WhiteBoy are going to form the focus of the article. These two questions call for pretty anecdotal responses, so feel free to answer them in as many words as you'd like: Menkooroo (talk) 04:07, January 14, 2013 (UTC)
Hello jSarek, as you were apparently the original user who promoted Voren Na'al to FA status, would you be able to respond to the bts and other issues addressed for tomorrow's InqMoot? Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 17:22, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
Hey JSarek. I was wondering if you could take a look at the Gektl article, which you took to GA status a couple of years ago. Since the recent community vote lowering the maximum GA word count from 3000 to 1000 I'm trying to get as many 1000+ word GAs to FA status and the Gektl article is one of them. You're not under any obligation to do anything here but if you want to FAN the article it would be great. Cheers. Commander Code-8 04:46, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
- Thats fine then :) Commander Code-8 05:18, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
Hey jSarek, I saw your comment in the recent N sync TC, and do you want to make the 'N Sync article a disambig page? It's fine if we create articles for the members that were going to appear in AOTC. JangFett 21:06, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, I understand. If someone is up for it, I won't mind. JangFett 21:53, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
Hey, JS. This CT is for letting a single user start a personal project to make broad-sweeping major changes to templates without notice to the community and as that user sees fit, having such changes protected and non-revertible without consensus track to reverse them. Please stop by and vote for or against. —Gethralkin 04:19, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for your help with 5,002 BBY. I will be sure to use this page as a model for future projects, and hopefully be able to clear some more red links from this site. --Scorch1162 (Priming Explosives) 01:39, September 11, 2013 (UTC)
Hi! I'm El Alamein, and I'm not from around this Wiki, but I'd like your expertise nonetheless. My Wiki is the Deadliest Fiction Wiki, which creates fights to the death between characters of fiction - and one I plan to host is General Grievous vs. Lord Voldemort of Harry Potter fame. One of the biggest topics of debate concerning this fight is magic vs. lightsabers. Lightsabers have been proven capable of deflecting lasers from blaster rifles and also other lightsabers, so the question is whether or not Grievous could protect himself with his lightsabers from a spell shot from Voldemort's wand. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could shed some light on the mysterious properties that physically make up lightsabers in the Star Wars universe to better assist us in our analysis. Thank you for your time. El Alamein (talk) 22:53, September 16, 2013 (UTC)
Forgive me but I am curious about how you were able to have your wiki not include the names and avatars of your users at the bottom of images in articles. I checked the code and there isn't any add ons. I'm trying to mimic this for the wiki I work at but can't figure out how do it. I apologize for any trouble but I would really like to know. - Alas, my knowledge of the coding we use is rather limited. jSarek () 00:24, October 21, 2013 (UTC)
No worries, I'll be more careful next time. I was just taking a break from my Lost Tribe of Sith edits and looking at one of the overpopulated categories. Most of the material are extant sources so we don't really know what type of sources they are. Thankyou very much for looking out for me. Andykatib 00:11, 25 November (UTC)
Hello jSarek, I would like to inform you that, per the Layout Guide, "Links to other unofficial sources, e.g. Star Wars: Blogs, fan sites, Wikipedia articles" are to be all given in external links. That statement might be too vague to be all-inclusive, but it has just been users' practice, for the external link ones, to include everything regardless of how relevant a certain article's mention/appearance in that blog actually is. Take note of the Star Wars Soundboards. Though I am one of the users (Tope and Bob are others) who treats them as sources, other users treat them as external links, which would also include the ones who are only pictured, such as here and here, though both have been currently moved to the source section now. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 17:00, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
- I believe that comment about "unofficial sources, e.g. Star Wars: Blogs" is a reference to the old blogs that StarWars.com used to host for users, not the Official Star Wars Blog, which is, per its very title, an official source. As you note, those other instances have been moved to the Source section, as the Soundboards are also an official source. Importantly, though, in both of those cases, those characters are actually visible in those pictures. Not a sliver of their pants, or a little bit of boot, but their faces and other characteristics that make them readily identifiable. This is why I don't think it should count at all; no one going to that webpage is going to have any idea what or why it has anything to do with Veertag, unless they've already versed themselves deeply in the lore of that scene. But, if other users disagree with that opinion, at the very least it should count as a source, as it comes from an official source of information. jSarek () 20:34, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
Don't mean to be rude but I've had this signature for quite a while now and can't think of one other wiki where there's been a complaint about it; your signature policy is not standard across wikia and I should not have to alter my own personal signature to comply with a policy that is not in effect on ANY of the dozen or so other wikis I contribute to, only this wiki which is an encyclopedia of (in the grand scale of military power) a rather weak-sauce universe. When Star Wars can manage curbstomps on the level of Total Annihilation or Supreme Commander I'll pay some more respect to the universe and it's wiki. (sorry, getting off-topic, can't help it sometimes)
also not relevant.
If you wish, I will certainly donate a few seconds per talk-page post or outmoded-forum post to adding a signature more in line with your policy.

Hello. This message is to inform you that you do not currently meet the contribution quotas necessary to maintain your sysops. Per wiki policy, all admins are required to make 50 mainspace edits in any six-month span. Your last 50 mainspace edits go back nearly ten months to November 19, 2013. Your six-month deadline expired on May 19, 2014, nearly four months ago, meaning you are now eligible for sysops removal. I am therefore giving you until 0:00 UTC time this Saturday, September 13, to bring your contributions back in line with these requirements, or your sysops will be removed per site policy. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:36, September 9, 2014 (UTC)
- I've just announced my resignation, so you may proceed with sysops removal. jSarek () 06:28, September 11, 2014 (UTC)
Hey jSarek; thanks for the catch on Livien League. I've been through Mission to Lianna about five times over the past three days and must have missed it every time. - Sir Cavalier of One 23:40, February 22, 2015 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I think that page came equipped with a cloaking device; I had to read through it three times to find mention of the League even though I KNEW it was there! jSarek () 23:59, February 22, 2015 (UTC)
Hi JSarek, you commented on the Card game citation, pre-CT discussion, so I thought I would let you know I just made a CT proposal in relation to that discussion. Have a good weekend! Manoof (talk) 03:06, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
Thank you! I've sent you an email.--The All-knowing Sith'ari (talk) 13:06, March 14, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Quick Locations added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Thanks! UberSoldat93 (talk) 07:35, June 8, 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for adding a backup link. I've looked over your edit and it looks fine. Just keep in mind that some templates (like YouTube videos) require a full archived URL and no archive date, while something like {{WebCite}} requires both the archived URL and date. UberSoldat93 (talk) 08:17, June 8, 2020 (UTC)
Hey jSarek! Sure, I can oblige here -- been on a WEG appearances hunt for ages so I divide the books by sections on my work page. The reference is on page 24, Chapter Two: The Sisar Run, under the entry for Terman Station. It is mispelt as Tocsan Q-8 starfighter. Hope that helps! --Sir Cavalier of One 11:11, October 4, 2020 (UTC)
Hey jSarek. Just thought I'd let you know that Bettle, an old GA of yours, was probed by the AgriCorps in case you'd like to save it from losing status. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 03:12, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up, JediMasterMacaroni. This week promises to be busy, but maybe I'll be able to address the issues next week. jSarek () 10:00, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
Hey jSarek - just saw your name in the RC and was wondering if you had any interest in joining the Discord. As a former BC your voice would certainly be interesting to have. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 22:00, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for the invitation! I've often debated whether to stick my head in there. This has prompted me to take the plunge. jSarek () 00:52, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
