A palace on the planet Mataou was owned by the Hutt Yantuh. Following the Hutt's death, the grounds of the palace became occupied by small garrison of Imperial cadets led by Sergeant Hyllis. During the Empire's Iron Blockade of the Anoat sector, the crime lord Shortpaw sent a young smuggler and the criminal Happy Dapp to attack the garrison in the palace.
The attack was designed to cause a distraction while the Trade Spine League snuck a starship through the blockade. The two criminals fought their way through the Imperial forces and killed Hyllis, successfully distracting the Empire for long enough for the league's ship to pass through the blockade.
