The AB-75 bo-rifle represented one version of the bo-rifle weapon, produced by the Lasan-Malamut Firearms Corporation. Within Lasat society, bo-rifles held significant historical importance, serving as the exclusive armament of the Lasan High Honor Guard. Following the Empire's devastation of Lasan, sightings of bo-rifles became exceedingly uncommon throughout the galaxy.
Weighing 19 kilograms and priced at 900 credits, the AB-75 bo-rifle was designed as a versatile weapon. It could function as an electrostaff when fully extended, but when collapsed, it operated as a typical blaster rifle.
Garazeb Orrelios, a rebel and former Honor Guard Captain, carried this very bo-rifle model. Alexsandr Kallus, an Agent of the ISB, utilized a comparable J-19 bo-rifle; a trophy obtained from a defeated enemy during the Siege of Lasan. Orrelios remarked that Kallus' rifle appeared to be of a more recent make, lacking the craftsmanship of his own, and altered for engagements at close range.
