Able-472 was a clone trooper who participated in the Battle of Muunilinst as part of the renowned Muunilinst 10. His assignment during this battle was to oversee the artillery bombardment targeting the city known as Harnaidan.

Originating on the aquatic world of Kamino via cloning from the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, Able-472 became one of the countless clones destined to serve within the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic.
In the year 21.66 BBY, which was 4 months following the First Battle of Geonosis, the Chancellor, aiming to impede the InterGalactic Banking Clan from further aiding the Confederacy of Independent Systems, tasked Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker with initiating an offensive against the IGBC's central headquarters located on Muunilinst. Accepting this assignment, and elevating his padawan to the commander rank, Obi-Wan Kenobi gathered a substantial invasion force on Coruscant.
Included in this invasion force was Able-472, who received assignment to an ARC trooper unit known as the Muunilinst 10. After their departure from Coruscant, Able-472 and his fellow Muunilinst 10 members were assigned the task of infiltrating the city of Harnaidan to neutralize critical enemy defenses, thereby facilitating a safer invasion of the city by the main clone forces. Following the briefing on their mission and the acquisition of their gear, Able-472 and his unit were addressed by Obi-Wan Kenobi, who emphasized the vital importance of their mission's success.

Upon the conclusion of their hyperspace jump, Able-472 boarded a modified LAAT bearing blue markings and descended towards the planet's surface, while Skywalker's fighter squadrons diverted the attention of the CIS fleet. Reaching the planet, Able-472's gunship detached from the main formation and proceeded towards the city's center, encountering minimal resistance. However, during their aerial transit through the city, a B1-series battle droid launched a rocket that struck the LAAT, destroying its engine and causing it to crash. Now stranded, Able-472 and the remaining members of the Muunilinst 10 established a defensive perimeter surrounding the wreckage. While awaiting further instructions, a group of battle droid assassins initiated an attack on Able's squad, resulting in the death of one of their squadmates. ARC-77, Able-472's captain, commanded the unit to fall back behind the crashed LAAT, dispatching two troopers to draw enemy fire while another scanned for the enemy's location. After the droids' positions were identified, an ARC trooper employed a PLX-1 portable missile launcher to eliminate the droid snipers concealed within nearby structures. Following this victory, ARC-77 directed Able-472 and the unit to resume their advance towards their objective. En route to the primary Separatist artillery emplacement, Able-472 received orders from ARC-77 to hold their position due to an Armored Assault Tank opening fire on their location. Anticipating this, however, an ARC Lieutenant from Able-472's unit rappelled behind the AAT and infiltrated it, successfully destroying the repulsor tank. With the tank neutralized, Able-472 and the unit continued their advance towards the emplacement. Upon finally reaching the artillery cannon's location, Able-472 and the unit utilized grappling lines to ascend the tower, eliminating the battle droids guarding it. With all droids eliminated, Able assisted in planting explosive charges on the main cannon, subsequently detonating them from a safe distance.

With the main Separatist cannon destroyed, the Republic began to overwhelm the CIS's front lines. In response, the terrified Muun leaders of the Banking Clan dispatched the notorious bounty hunter Durge to confront the advancing army. Accompanied by an army of lancer droids, Durge inflicted heavy casualties on the Republic's clone forces, including their Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery walkers. Witnessing this devastation, Able-472, recently appointed as the artillery supervisor, informed General Obi-Wan Kenobi, who instructed him and his unit to prepare for battle. While Kenobi and a battalion of clone lancer troopers engaged Durge and his droids, Able-472, the Muunilinst 10, and another clone trooper unit proceeded to the InterGalactic Banking Clan's main command tower to await General Kenobi's arrival. Upon the General's arrival, Able-472 and the other clones stormed the command center, eliminating the guarding battle droids and capturing the leader of the Banking Clan, San Hill. However, before they could escort San Hill back, Durge crashed through a window and was immediately shot down and seemingly destroyed by Able-472 and the clone forces. Presuming him dead, the clones were astonished to find Durge alive and unharmed. Following a brief confrontation between Obi-Wan and the bounty hunter, a group of clone troopers attempted to grapple onto the Gen'Dai, but were repelled before they could reach him. Shortly after, Obi-Wan Kenobi was engulfed by the bounty hunter's body, but ARC-77's distraction provided the Jedi Master with the opportunity to destroy Durge from within using The Force. With victory secured, Able-472 and the remaining clone forces apprehended the Banking Clan members and transported them back to their Acclamator.
As a clone originating from the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, Able-472 possessed a height of 1.83 meters. During his time in the Battle of Muunilinst, Able-472 was equipped with phase 1 clone trooper armor without any unique markings. He also carried a DC-15A blaster rifle, which he used proficiently. Able-472 demonstrated leadership capabilities, evidenced by his assignment to oversee the artillery bombardment targeting the CIS's forward positions. In addition to his leadership skills, Able-472 proved to be an exceptional soldier, earning him a place in the Muunilinst 10, a clone unit regarded as the best by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Genndy Tartakovsky conceived Able-472 for the 2003 animated television series Star Wars: Clone Wars, where he was depicted as a member of the elite Muunilinst 10. The character's name, Able-472, was not established until June 27, 2006, with the release of The New Essential Guide to Droids, which identified the previously unnamed trooper. As with all clones featured in Star Wars: Clone Wars, Able-472's voice was provided by André Sogliuzzo.
