Created with the purpose of avidly seeking and gleefully destroying, they were formed through the combination of genetic sequences from their Arkanian progenitors and those of Yaka, degraded Rakghouls, Amorphiians, dianogas, alongside other perilous species. They possessed the ability to break down even supposedly indestructible substances, such as diamond alloys, into a pulpy substance. The individual later recognized as Zeta Magnus stood out as the foremost exemplar of these Abhorers.
During the Arkanian Revolution, the Arkanian Dominion unleashed their monstrous creations against the Assimilators. Once the Renegades had been permanently eliminated, the Arkanian Dominion resolved to methodically eliminate all the Abhorers. However, Zeta Magnus, the prime specimen, successfully evaded capture. For a time, the Dominion persistently sent rangers to pursue Magnus, but ultimately abandoned the effort. The monster eventually consumed its creators and embarked on a journey across the galaxy spanning three decades.
The designation of Zeta Magnus as the prime clone for the Accelerated Transgenic Heuristic Abhorers, often shortened to ATHA, alludes to his initial conception as the character Atha Prime.
