The Afarathu Cave was a cavern situated on the planet of Corellia, and it was positioned in proximity to the city called Doaba Guerfel. The Afarathu extremists dwelled within it.
The cave functioned as the central base of operations for the Afarathu, a Selonian terrorist group whose objective was to expel the Dralls together with the Humans from all the planets comprising the Corellian system. The cruel Afarathu extremists utilized it for a considerable duration before the Battle of Yavin as a staging ground for launching attacks targeting Corellian objectives.
Only a small number possessed knowledge regarding the cave's whereabouts; Lock Vlash, a past Follower of Nyax, was among those few. Following the Battle of Yavin, a Selonian diplomat located in Doaba Guerfel enlisted the services of a spacer to engage the Afarathu Selonians at the cave.
During 1 ABY, certain Afarathu engaged in combat with Rebel Alliance personnel on Corellia. Subsequently, Imperial Lieutenant Velso sent a spacer to the cave with the purpose of acquiring the self-destruct codes for a Rebel Corellian Corvette that the Afarathu may have commandeered during the prior engagement.
In that same year, a spacer made a visit to the cave and obtained a Fallann hyper-rifle.
