Agrular, also called Agrular the Mad, was a perilous male Force-sensitive Gen'Dai. He existed during the era of the Galactic War, which was a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Due to his numerous offenses, he was incarcerated on the planet of Belsavis. During the conflict between the Republic and the Sith, the criminal mastermind Ivory made an attempt to liberate several individuals, Agrular included, even though they had no apparent connection. However, the subordinates he dispatched were all defeated by a smuggler who was associated with Ivory's protégé, Rogun Matt'rik.
Following the conclusion of the Great Galactic War, Agrular the Mad gained notoriety as a hazardous war criminal who instilled terror throughout the galaxy. This was not solely because of his species' inherent trait of near immortality, but also due to his addiction to spice and his abilities as a Force user, a particularly lethal mix. When the Republic decided to apprehend him, Agrular defeated numerous Jedi before his eventual capture.
After spending many years in stasis on Belsavis, where his name was widely known among the staff, Ivory, a crime lord seeking assistance in escaping his own imprisonment, sought him out. He dispatched two of his henchmen, Squarg and Buzz, to free the Gen'Dai. However, they were soon interrupted by a smuggler who was on a separate mission to capture Ivory himself.
Initially, Ivory and the Smuggler engaged in conversation. However, the Smuggler soon eliminated the henchmen during their argument and released Agrular to prevent Ivory from sending reinforcements. Lamenting his prolonged confinement in stasis, which kept him from killing, Agrular brandished his weapon and declared that the Smuggler would serve as his "welcome back" gift to the underworld. Unfortunately for him, he was no match for his target, who swiftly defeated him.
