Aika Lars

A human female named Aika Lars existed before the Clone Wars. She became the initial wife of Cliegg Lars, a moisture farmer originating from Tatooine. Their meeting occurred on a Core World, leading to their marriage and the parenting of a son named Owen. Aika died while Owen was still young, prompting Cliegg and his son to go back to his family's farm on Tatooine.

Behind the scenes

The inaugural mention of Aika Lars appeared in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones: The Visual Dictionary, a Star Wars Legends supplemental book for Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. David West Reynolds authored the book, which DK Publishing released in 2002. Aika's canonization took place in April 2016 through the Star Wars Character Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded, a DK reference work penned by Pablo Hidalgo.
