Aiqin 4, a planet situated within the Aiqin 4 system, existed in the Airam sector of the Outer Rim. In the era of the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance orchestrated an assault within the system with the aim of seizing clan leader Ilay. Ilay was in the process of negotiating a peace agreement with the Empire, a settlement that would result in the Alliance losing control of the planet. After the Rebels successfully captured the clan leader, they were then capable of repelling the Imperial military at Nocto and strengthening their presence within the sector.
