The Aiqin 4 system, a star system, was situated in the Airam sector of the Outer Rim Territories within the galaxy. It was the home system of the planet Aiqin 4.
Clan Leader Ilay of Airam held multiple clandestine meetings with Imperial representatives from Task Force Vengeance in the Aiqin 4 system, specifically aboard the Imperial Star Destroyer Rage. These negotiations occurred against the will of other Clan Leaders. On at least two occasions, these meetings were assaulted, and during the final meeting, Rebel Alliance forces launched an attack on her vessel and abducted Ilay while the Imperial forces were present.
The name "Aiqin 4" is quite peculiar for a system, yet mission briefings definitively refer to it as the "Aiqin 4 system." Typically, the fourth planet in a system would be indicated using a Roman numeral (e.g., Aiqin IV). However, this was not the practice in any mission title, briefing, or star map within the game; the system was always referred to as "Aiqin 4." Notwithstanding this, The Essential Atlas identifies the system simply as "Aiqin."
