Aiwha Squad, a distinguished clone commando group, functioned as a component of the Grand Army of the Republic throughout the Clone Wars. The unit derived its designation from the indigenous Aiwhas located on Kamino.
During an engagement with the forces of the Separatist Droid Army, the Republic mistakenly targeted a farmhouse situated on Garqi with a bombing strike. Aiwha Squad received directives to locate any women and children present and transport them to a designated refugee camp. During their search of a structure, Zag discovered a young boy named Evan.
The Aiwhas escorted Evan against his will. When the boy attempted to escape, a homing spider droid attacked him, but Sarge, the squad's commanding officer, intervened by throwing a rock at the droid, prompting the other commandos to launch an ambush. Upon reaching the refugee camp, the commandos left Evan and engaged in conversation with Jedi General Traavis.
Subsequently, Order 66 was executed, compelling the commandos to assassinate the General in the presence of the young boy. Sarge proceeded to clarify that it was a mandated directive, emphasizing that clones are not permitted to challenge orders.
