Under the leadership of Sergeant Maximian Ajax, Ajax's squad operated as a part of the Alliance to Restore the Republic's 61st Mobile Infantry. In 3 ABY, during a raid on an Imperial heavy freighter, Ajax's unit established a defensive position within a primary corridor of the Imperial heavy freighter. As orders were given for the squads to retreat, they encountered heavy resistance and found themselves trapped, at which point First Sergeant Hazram Namir arrived to extract them. Despite the successful evacuation of his troops, Ajax perished, grenade in hand, uttering curses.
