Alam Syk

Alam Syk functioned as a Jedi Knight within the Jedi Order as the Galactic Republic neared its end. By 25 BBY, Syk had established a reputation as a leading authority on security matters at the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant, the Republic's planet capital. In that year, Obi-Wan Kenobi, a fellow Jedi Knight, reached out to Syk concerning the reported abduction of Gillam Tarturi, the offspring of Senator Berm Tarturi. After examining the security recordings from the night the crime occurred, neither Kenobi nor Syk could discern anything unusual, finding the recordings to be ultimately unhelpful. Subsequently, Kenobi requested Syk to pinpoint the origin of the comlink signal belonging to his associate, Tyro Caladian, a Senate aide, which directed the Jedi to Senator Sano Sauro, the individual responsible for planting listening devices on Caladian's communication devices.
