The Count known as Alde was a male Human from the esteemed House Alde of Alderaan, a planet. He lived during the period of the Cold War that existed between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Alde provided funding for the Death Mark laser project within the Republic; however, Aleyna Hark, a Mirialan working as a spy, used the superweapon's targeting system to mark the Count, which then allowed Nefarid, a Sith Lord, to assassinate him.
