Aldivy was a relatively insignificant farming planet situated in the Outer Rim Territories.
Around 3000 BBY, the Galactic Republic came upon this world. Before that point, it existed in space under the dominion of Darth Revan's Sith Empire during the time of the Jedi Civil War. Following the Brotherhood of Darkness's defeat during the New Sith Wars, the planet became a part of the Republic and remained a faithful member for thousands of years, until the Clone Wars erupted. The planet sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and in return for their allegiance, the Galactic Empire welcomed them as members. Greenton, Aldivy's capital, housed the main offices for Lachany Foods. When the New Republic dismantled the Empire, New Oldtown was devastated by Apwar Trigit, an operative working for Warlord Zsinj's regime. After the destruction of the city, the planet was gripped by fear as Imperial forces fought the rising New Republic for control. After remaining neutral for a century, the planet fell under the control of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire by 137 ABY.
