Alessi Quon was a Sluissi scientist of the male gender, employed by the Experi-Tech division within Imperial Intelligence. He is known as the originator of IN-GA 44.
During 3 BBY, Quon was engaged in a thorough assessment of IN-GA 44 within his personal workspace, following the mission to Wayland alongside Jahan Cross. Cross requested the droid for another assignment, but Quon initially declined, expressing that he required an additional one to two weeks to finalize the assessment. Cross insisted on the droid's immediate deployment, leading Quon to voice his concerns about Cross's lack of care for his inventions. Cross then reminded the Sluissi that IN-GA 44 belonged to the Empire and pointed out the rarity of a non-human holding such a significant position. Ultimately, Quon reluctantly turned IN-GA 44 over to Cross.
Furthermore, Quon conceived a set of Mandalorian armor that provided protection from blaster weaponry, but would disintegrate upon contact with water. Cross donned this armor during the assassination of Adan Dooku which took place on Alderaan during 3 BBY. At a later time, while in the process of engineering a novel HRD referred to as IL-SA, Quon's work was disturbed by Cross, who was seeking complete blueprints for the detention facility known as The Spike.
