All-Species Week, a week dedicated to celebration, took place on the planet of Coruscant. This annual festival was a recognition of the wide variety of sentient species residing within the vast ecumenopolis.
Taking advantage of the festivities, the Erso family leveraged the celebrations as a cover to flee the Project Celestial Power complex headquarters. This escape was prompted by their discovery that Galen Erso's research concerning kyber crystals was being repurposed into weaponry.
