Altyr system
The Altyr system was a star system, also the namesake of the Altyr 5 Light Freighter Race. Within this system, during the year 3 ABY and the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Imperial Navy annihilated an Alliance to Restore the Republic capital ship. Folimar, an Imperial Commander, stated that the engagement served as a "reminder of the Empire's superior force compared to the rebels." This quote was included in Dorna Parros's report on the HoloNet News.
Behind the scenes
The Altyr system, in current Star Wars canon, was referenced in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws by Massive Entertainment. The system's initial appearance was in the Star Wars Legends continuity, specifically in Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith. This was an expansion released in 1998 for the 1997 LucasArts video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II.
