A governing body held sway over the law enforcement of the world known as Andelm IV. In the time of the Galactic Civil War, a conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the criminal known as Jaum offered payment to the council in exchange for them ignoring his extraction activities within the Andelm beetle caverns. In these caverns, he compelled imprisoned individuals in debt to gather dedlanite for his own profit. When one of Jaum's laborers, Zarro, managed to flee the caverns and tried to expose Jaum's illegal actions, the local police informed her that they were unable to assist because Jaum had corrupted the council with bribes.
The Andelm IV council initially appeared in the 2015 comic Chewbacca (2015) 1, penned by Gerry Duggan.
