An Anduvian salt tablet functioned as an efficient breath freshener for Humans. These tablets came from the Anduvia system located within the Expansion Region. Jolee Bindo, a Human who was a former Jedi Padawan turned smuggler, knew about Anduvian salt tablets as early as 3956 BBY.
The BioWare video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, released in 2003, featured Anduvian salt tablets. The Human player character, Revan, can encounter the consumable during a specific variation of an optional conversation with Jolee Bindo within the game. Specifically, Bindo first says Revan reminds him of another Jedi, Andor Vex, and then remarks on Vex's poor breath. Following this, Revan has the option to ask if that comment is also directed toward their own breath. Bindo responds that it is not, but then casually recommends that Revan take an Anduvian salt tablet.
