Anstak was a Jedi Master who was male and belonged to an aquatic species. The Qel-Droma Epics state that Anstak oversaw a temple located inside the Imhar Canyon on Ossus, which was a planet belonging to the Jedi Order. This temple was located within a network of tunnels that were underwater, and Anstak used it to teach many aquatic Jedi Padawans. Anstak also possessed several Force artifacts, which often had a connection to activities that took place underwater. The Epics also tell that the Cron Supernovae destroyed Ossus, but some people thought that Anstak and the Jedi he taught may have lived through it in the deep caverns.
