The Aquaris Freeholders were a collective that participated in a spice delivery operation alongside Chewbacca and Han Solo, who were acting as smugglers. Silver Fyre maintained connections with this group. The Freeholders incited Solo's anger when they seized the spice shipment during the course of the delivery. Later, when Solo was devising a scheme to settle a debt with Jabba the Hutt he owed, Chewbacca suggested Silver Fyre and the Aquaris Freeholders as potential employers, but Solo rejected the idea. Sometime between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, the Aquaris Freeholders, in their search for spice, forcibly entered Strono Tuggs's food freighter. Upon discovering that the freighter only contained food, they insisted that Tuggs prepare a high-quality meal for them.
