Asajj Ventress's lightsabers

Specifications

The paired lightsabers of both Asajj Ventress and Komari Vosa projected a red blade upon activation. The activation stud was subtly hidden on each lightsaber. As lightsabers designed to be paired, the two could be joined at the hilt via fibercord to create a saberstaff; however, the curved handle design made it somewhat more challenging to wield, especially with the precision required by the Makashi combat form.

Komari Vosa

Komari Vosa's use of her curved-hilt lightsabers began only after her fall to the dark side and her association with the Bando Gora cult. She wielded them until her death in 32 BBY, at the hands of Jango Fett and her former master, Dooku.

Asajj Ventress

Ventress's use of these lightsabers commenced during the Clone Wars period, following their acquisition from Count Dooku. She employed them against Mace Windu and Sora Bulq in a staged ambush on Ruul, where K'Kruhk narrowly escaped death by her blade. In her duel against Kit Fisto, Ventress's employment of Vosa's lightsabers nearly resulted in his demise. After the killing of Tauht on Khorm, Ventress used these lightsabers against Plo Koon.

Ventress's lightsabers clashed with Luminara Unduli's lightsaber and Ahsoka Tano's lightsaber during her attempt to liberate Nute Gunray from Republic custody on Tranquility. Luminara Unduli would again confront Ventress, this time alongside Aayla Secura on Alzoc III. During the Battle of Sullust, she engaged Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in combat, briefly losing one of her lightsabers. Following a failed assassination attempt orchestrated by Dooku, Ventress sought to eliminate her former master, initially with the assistance of Savage Opress's lightstaff, and later independently of the Zabrak's aid.

During the fight occurring above Raydonia, Kenobi briefly wielded one of Ventress's lightsabers to retrieve his own, which had been seized by Darth Maul.

Barriss Offee

In the aftermath of the Bombing of the Jedi Temple Hangar, Ventress confronted Padawan Ahsoka Tano with her curved lightsabers while Tano was in hiding from Republic authorities, having been falsely accused of the bombings at the Temple. Ventress subsequently aided Tano in proving her innocence, escorting her to the Level 1315 warehouse situated in the Coruscant underworld. Upon separating from Tano, Ventress was ambushed by Barriss Offee, who had succumbed to the dark side of the Force. After incapacitating Ventress, Offee seized her lightsabers and mask, and then engaged Tano in a duel at the warehouse. Offee then used these lightsabers to duel Skywalker at the Jedi Temple after he had discovered that she was the true instigator of the attack.
