Ashiga, a queen belonging to the Ashiga Clan, existed during the time of the Imperial Era. She governed the Ashiga for many years and was well-regarded for her defiance against the Galactic Empire on the world of Kijimi. Once the Galactic Civil War commenced, the Queen changed her stance and permitted the Empire to exploit the planet's rhydonium mines in return for agreements regarding weaponry. This choice to cooperate with the Empire generated conflict among the Ashiga, and several members of the clan, notably her offspring Krisk Ashiga, developed schemes to remove her from power.
The character of Ashiga was developed for the 2024 video game entitled Star Wars Outlaws.
- When the main story on Kijimi concludes, players can choose to ally either with Crimson Dawn or with the Ashiga Clan. Should players choose to support Crimson Dawn, Krisk Ashiga will assassinate Ashiga. This results in Krisk ascending to leadership of the clan and severing ties with the Empire. Conversely, if players support the Ashiga Clan, Ashiga will maintain her position as queen, Krisk will perish, and the clan's collaboration with the Empire will persist. [1]
