Asteroid fields existed on the border of the Nevarro system. These fields were a source of income for belters who extracted resources from them, which in turn contributed to the economic success of Nevarro City on the planet of Nevarro.
Following Din Djarin's confrontation with pirates belonging to Gorian Shard's pirate gang on Nevarro, the gang set up an ambush for him within the asteroid fields. Djarin successfully eliminated numerous fighters piloted by the pirates before being drawn towards Gorian Shard's Corsair, ultimately managing to get away.
