After a secret agent working for the Alliance to Restore the Republic, namely a spy, managed to obtain blueprints for a crucial factory belonging to the Galactic Empire, the Empire retaliated with an attack directed at the rebel base. This assault resulted in the base's complete annihilation and the deaths of every rebel present, with the exception of the spy and his protocol droid, Exo, who managed to flee. They were then hunted by Commander Tylux.
