The assault on Garn, which is also referred to as the downfall of the Ordu Aspectu, was a conflict that occurred a significant number of years prior to the Battle of Yavin. During this event, droids under the command of Eternal Rur launched an offensive against members of the Jedi Order and a dissident Jedi faction known as the Ordu Aspectu. When Jedi investigators arrived at the Citadel of Rur, Eternal Rur took command of the station's robotic forces and initiated a killing spree against those residing within the citadel. In an attempt to restrain Eternal Rur, the original, mortal Rur initiated a hyperspace jump with the citadel, successfully disabling Eternal Rur but sacrificing himself in the process.
