Well before the time of the Imperial Period, the planet of Mustafar was attacked by hostile forces, resulting in the death of Lord Dorwin Corvax at the hands of the attacking party. In the wake of this assault, Lady Corvax sought to bring her spouse back to life using the Aeon Engine; however, her scheme went awry, and she instead devastated the planetary landscape.
