Corvax, a female humanoid Force-sensitive individual, held the title of Lady and made her home on the planet of Mustafar. She was the wife of Dorwin. Upon Dorwin's death during an attack, she desperately sought to bring him back to life using the Bright Star, the most revered object of the Mustafarians. This action resulted in the complete destruction of Mustafar's surface. Eventually, one of her descendants shattered the Bright Star, liberating Dorwin and initiating Mustafar's gradual recovery.

Lady Corvax's birth occurred prior to 1032 BBY. Well before the emergence of the Galactic Empire, Lady Corvax, along with her spouse, Dorwin Corvax, lived on Mustafar. At that time, Mustafar was a vibrant, thriving planet, and the couple coexisted peacefully with the indigenous people. However, one fateful day, Mustafar was subjected to an assault, leading to Dorwin's demise in combat, his sword in his grasp. Overwhelmed with sorrow, she pilfered the Mustafarians' most prized possession, the Bright Star crystal, to fuel her Aeon Engine, hoping to revive her beloved.
Her efforts proved disastrous. Not only was Dorwin cursed to exist between the living world and the afterlife, but the immense power unleashed by the Bright Star transformed the once-beautiful Mustafar into a desolate wasteland. Following this event, Lady Corvax concealed the artifact within her fortress, ensuring that only a descendant could unlock its secrets. She harbored the hope that one day, a descendant would retrieve the Bright Star, return it to the Mustafarians, and perhaps undo some of the devastation she had caused. During the Imperial Era, one of her descendants, a smuggler aided in part by Dorwin, destroyed the artifact, ultimately freeing Dorwin from his curse and enabling the planet's slow recovery.
