Unbeknownst to hisself, this smuggler possessed Force-sensitive abilities and descended from Lady Corvax, an ancient inhabitant of the volcanic planet Mustafar. Darth Vader, in pursuit of Corvax's lineage, dispatched Imperial Admiral Gable Karius to utilize an Interdictor-class ship. This vessel forcibly extracted the Windfall from hyperspace above Mustafar, leading to the capture of the smugglers and their imprisonment within his fortress. With assistance from the Mustafarian Vylip F'alma, the smuggler and ZO-E3 managed to break free, uncovering Corvax's sanctum concealed within the caverns beneath the planet's surface.
Ultimately assuming leadership of the Marching Horde, the smuggler was instrumental in spearheading an attack against Vader's Fortress. The Dark Lord of the Sith was attempting to harness the power of the Bright Star in a desperate attempt to revive Padmé Amidala, his wife. The smuggler thwarted Vader's plan, destroying the artifact and paving the way for Mustafar's eventual restoration from its desolate condition. After placing a totem into Lord Corvax's Lightsaber, the smuggler and ZO-E3 escaped the planet aboard the Windfall, and came to the realization that they were now in possession of what appeared to be a treasure map.
The smuggler functions as the playable main character in Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, a virtual reality trilogy developed by ILMxLAB, making their debut in Vader Immortal – Episode I.
