Around the time of 3 ABY, a Troig auctioneer organized an auction on Spira. This event was one of two auctions featuring antiques that took place annually on the planet of Spira. In the course of the auction, a Nihil strikeship was put on the market; Captain Amilyn Holdo desired to acquire the Path engine from it, enabling her and fellow members of the Rebel Alliance to locate the missing Kezarat Convoy. The initial bid was set at twenty-five thousand credits by the curator of the Imperial Museum. Subsequently, Holdo offered twenty-six thousand, prompting the curator to respond with a bid of thirty thousand. As the auction neared its conclusion, Holdo increased her bid to thirty-five thousand, only to be met with a counteroffer from the curator, who bid fifty thousand credits, thereby securing the ship. Although the curator emerged victorious in the bidding war, the rebels were not deterred; they swiftly extracted the Path engine from the ship and successfully made their escape.
