Aurora, with its plural forms being aurorae or auroras, represented a naturally occurring spectacle observed across the planet Tiikae Piu, and also Kavith III. These auroras manifested as vibrant, rainbow-like displays of radiation, gracing the night sky with their presence. Sylvestri Yarrow, during her weeks-long sojourn on Tiikae in 231 BBY, made it a habit to observe these auroras alongside Jordanna Sparkburn. On Piu, an annual tradition known as the Giganism Sacrifice involved the formation of aurorae through the use of prayer-oolites. Once, during the Imperial Era, the scholar Korin Aphra was a witness to this Giganism Sacrifice, observing the aurorae that materialized as the oolites impacted the troposphere. He later shared this experience with his daughter Chelli, expressing his desire for her to have witnessed it firsthand.
