Ayk Arko

A Gran of the male persuasion, Ayk Arko, collaborated with Sebolto, a Dug crime lord, during the declining years of the Galactic Republic. The Security Force of the planet Coruscant sought him for questioning, placing a bounty on him. The bounty hunter known as Jango Fett located Arko on the planet Malastare and apprehended him alive in 32 BBY.

Biography

In the closing decades of the Galactic Republic, Ayk Arko, a male Gran, engaged in criminal activities. By 32 BBY, the internal affairs division of the Security Force on Coruscant desired to interrogate him. Consequently, they issued a bounty for the Gran, offering 5000 credits for his live capture, or 2500 credits if he was killed. However, in 32 BBY, Arko found himself on Malastare, associated with a drug cartel operated by the Dug King Sebolto.

During his time on Malastare in 32 BBY, Arko ventured into the planet's jungles, where he crossed paths with the bounty hunter Jango Fett. Fett, who was navigating the jungles to reach Sebolto's Palace, successfully captured Arko alive. He subsequently claimed the full bounty from the Coruscant Security Force.

Personality and traits

Ayk Arko was characterized as a male Gran, distinguished by his pink skin and black eyes. Upon his encounter with Fett within the jungles of Malastare, he launched an immediate attack using a blaster, only to be ultimately defeated in combat. While situated on Malastare, the Gran was observed wearing clothing in shades of black and brown.

Behind the scenes

Ayk Arko made his initial appearance within the strategy guide by Prima Games for the video game Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, developed by LucasArts, as well as in the game itself. The release of both occurred in 2002, with the guide preceding the game's launch. In the game, Arko serves as an optional secondary bounty, allowing players the choice to capture or eliminate him for his bounty, or simply kill him without any reward. Given the higher profitability of capturing Arko alive, in contrast to killing him, this article operates under the assumption that players chose this option as part of 100% game completion.
