The illegal death stick smuggling ring led by the Dug King Sebolto was known as Sebolto's drug cartel, and it conducted operations across multiple star systems. The cartel's business boomed after his majesty struck an agreement with High Priestess Komari Vosa of the Bando Gora, which involved enhancing the death sticks with the cult's neurotoxins, thereby increasing their potency and addictiveness. In the Gazzari Minor system, the cartel's activities were terminated when smuggler Bendix Fust was apprehended by the Republic Security Force at a transfer station and subsequently exposed the entire operation. Similarly, Jango Fett and Montross, former Mandalorian bounty hunters, dismantled the cartel's presence in the Coruscant system. The cartel's existence was ultimately brought to an end when Sebolto met his demise while attempting to evade Jango Fett, plunging into a container filled with his own death sticks.
