Azzameen cargo fields

Around 3 ABY, the Azzameen family, who owned the trading enterprise Twin Suns Transport Services, possessed several cargo fields. These secret cargo fields, known only to the Azzameen family, were comprised of at least three plots, each containing numerous cargo containers filled with diverse goods. After Aeron Azzameen inadvertently wiped the data regarding the containers' contents, she and her brother, Ace, undertook a manual inspection of the fields to reconstruct the database. During this endeavor, the siblings encountered various unauthorized starships, including the Pursuer-class enforcement ship Enkidu, which was surreptitiously damaging one of the plots on behalf of the Azzameens' competitors, Viraxo Industries. Realizing that the security of the plots had been breached, the Azzameens determined that relocating the cargo containers was necessary.

Description

The Azzameen family, traders and operators of the shipping firm Twin Suns Transport Services, maintained a number of cargo fields circa 3 ABY. These fields encompassed a minimum of three separate plots, each designed for efficient and rapid inspection, and stocked with several Xizor Transport Systems cargo containers. One plot was dedicated to Class-G containers storing shelters and Class-I containers holding fertilizer. The second plot housed pressure tanks filled with LOX alongside Class-J cargo containers containing construction materials. The final plot consisted of Class-K containers filled with teel wood and Class-L cargo containers stocked with hydron. These plots were intentionally spaced far apart, requiring a jump through hyperspace from both each other and the Azzameen's home base, the orbital platform Azzameen Station. The location of these fields was a closely guarded family secret, intended to safeguard the stored cargo against pirates and sabotage, although the family did disclose the location to Imperial inspectors.

History

Ace Azzameen, piloting the Sabra, intercepts the Raider.

In 3 ABY, while implementing an upgrade to the cargo fields' security system, Aeron Azzameen, the family's technician, accidentally erased database records detailing the contents of containers within three plots of the cargo fields. Consequently, she sought the assistance of her brother, Ace, who had recently begun piloting ships for their father's company. Their mission was to manually inspect each container to reconstruct the lost data. After departing Azzameen Station in the family's pair of YT-1300 light freighters—Aeron piloting the Selu and Ace flying the Sabra—the siblings successfully scanned the contents of the first plot without any issues.

Upon proceeding to the subsequent plot, the Azzameens discovered the cargo ferry Raider attempting to pilfer a container; Ace promptly dealt with the intruder. Arriving at the third plot, the siblings encountered more unwanted visitors in the form of the Pursuer-class enforcement ship Enkidu and its Razor-class starfighter escort. The Enkidu, acting under orders from the Azzameens' rivals, Viraxo Industries, was covertly adding contraband spice to one of the containers, aiming to undermine the Azzameens and Twin Suns Transport Services. Following defeating the escorts and driving off the Enkidu, Aeron concluded that the location of the fields, previously known only to the Azzameens, had been compromised. The family droid, MK-09, expressed concern that the cargo containers would need to be relocated as a result. The Selu retrieved the sabotaged container and continued inspecting the final field. Once completed, both Azzameen ships returned to Azzameen Station, with the contraband in tow.
