B'ree

B'ree, a Rodian male merchant of weapons, made his living on the Sith planet of Korriban, situated in the Outer Rim. This was during the time of the Jedi Civil War, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Operating out of a kiosk in Dreshdae, he dealt in arms. In the year 3956 BBY, B'ree saw an upswing in business due to the power vacuum that arose at Dreshdae's Sith Academy.

Biography

During the Jedi Civil War, which pitted the Galactic Republic against the Sith Empire, B'ree resided on the planet of Korriban, a Sith-controlled world located in the Outer Rim. By 3956 BBY, B'ree had established a kiosk near the landing zone in Dreshdae, a settlement found on Korriban. His inventory was mainly comprised of weaponry acquired through contacts with Mandalorian raiders. Recognizing the danger posed by the Sith, B'ree was known to encourage newcomers to arm themselves for protection.

Later that year, Revan, the former Dark Lord of the Sith who had lost his memories and embraced the ways of the Jedi, arrived on Korriban in search of the Star Forge. Revan encountered the Rodian, who recognized him as the celebrated champion of the Ahto City swoop track on Manaan, a waterworld located in the Inner Rim. B'ree engaged Revan in conversation, discussing his merchandise and his views on the Sith. Later, the Jedi infiltrated the Sith Academy on Korriban, where he killed Sith Master Uthar Wynn and redeemed his apprentice, Yuthura Ban. This resulted in a power struggle within the Academy, which significantly boosted B'ree's sales, a fact he later shared with Revan.

Personality and traits

B'ree was a male Rodian, characterized by his copper skin tone and black eyes.

B'ree considered the Sith to be an irritating presence, but also understood the threat they posed. Because of this, he made an effort to sell weapons to those newly arrived on Korriban, hoping to help them defend themselves. The Rodian was quite open about his opinions regarding the Sith, even with individuals he had just met. B'ree held the belief that turmoil, especially that caused by the Sith, was beneficial for his business.

The Rodian enjoyed watching swoop racing and held Revan in high regard after he gained fame as the champion of the Ahto City swoop track.

Equipment

B'ree was typically seen wearing a green and teal suit, paired with bronze boots, a harness, and a utility belt that included a holster.

He owned and sold various types of armaments, including blaster pistols, blaster rifles, grenades, mines, and melee weapons. His inventory included the personal blaster pistol of Cassus Fett, a Mandalorian Neo-crusader.

Behind the scenes

B'ree made an appearance as a non-playable character in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which was developed by BioWare. Interactions with B'ree are not required and do not influence the story, quests, or alignment. B'ree's dialogue will change if the player speaks with him after becoming the champion of the Ahto City swoop track on Manaan and after the Sith Academy on Korriban has been destabilized.
