In 1 ABY, Radeld Siwar, a Rodian smuggler, dispatched an inexperienced individual to Junktown as an initiation into the world of smuggling. This individual discovered a storage unit containing spice samples and a computer holding the company's spice recipes; subsequently, they stole both the samples and the recipes for Siwar.
The initial mention of Bantha Moving and Storage occurred in Star Wars Galaxies, a video game from 2003. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The company was added to the game through the "Legacy Quest" update, which coincided with the release of "Publish 25", also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. The game was later shut down on December 15, 2011.
