Radeld Siwar

Radeld Siwar was a Rodian smuggler of the male persuasion. This individual operated on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War. It was common to encounter him within the confines of the Mos Eisley Combat Hall.

Biography

In the year 1 ABY, Han Solo, a Corellian smuggler, sought Siwar's assistance in mentoring a novice smuggler in the intricacies of their trade. Siwar opted to initially task the newcomer with an investigation into Bantha Moving and Storage, which served as a front for a spice smuggling enterprise. He instructed the inexperienced spacer to locate and pilfer spice samples alongside associated recipes from the company, items concealed within Junktown near Mos Eisley. Following the smuggler's successful return, Siwar resolved to consider them for future assignments.

When the activities of the Skaak Tippers began to encroach upon Siwar's illicit dealings on Naboo, he once more reached out to the aspiring smuggler. Siwar dispatched the smuggler to that world with the intention of demonstrating how seasoned smugglers address such challenges. The smuggler effectively ambushed and eliminated several Skaak Tipper members near Theed to deliver a clear message to the organization. This convinced Riwar that the smuggler's talents could be leveraged to resolve another issue impacting his spice distribution on Naboo. His local operations were suffering due to the disruptive actions of the local Mauler gang, which led to increased scrutiny from the Royal Naboo Security Forces. Consequently, he dispatched the smuggler to the Mauler Stronghold, where the young criminal initiated an ambush, eliminating several Maulers to temporarily quell the gang's activities. Highly pleased with the outcome, Siwar compensated the smuggler with a substantial reward.

Behind the scenes

Radeld Siwar made an appearance as a non-player character in the 2003 video game entitled Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was brought to life by Sony Online Entertainment and subsequently released by LucasArts. The game existed until its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Radeld Siwar's inclusion in the game was part of the "Legacy Quest" update, which was released alongside "Publish 25", also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. Players could encounter him in Mos Eisley, where he played a role in two quests designed for those who chose the smuggler profession. These quests were initiated by examining documents that smugglers received upon reaching specific player levels.
