Barons Knoll, situated on Sulon, was a prominent hill. It lent its name to the city of Barons Hed, which developed around its base.
Following the Subjugation of Sulon (1 BBY), Government House was constructed at the highest point of Barons Knoll. The homes erected in proximity to it comprised the High Town, inhabited by the most affluent individuals; conversely, the Low Town, populated by the least wealthy, consisted of structures situated closer to the base of the hill.
The novella Dark Forces: Rebel Agent, which is the novelization of the video game Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, features Barons Knoll. Although the game's cutscene shows the high Palace at the city's center, it doesn't depict the gradual rise in elevation that the novella describes.
