Barraza City
Barraza City, often shortened to Barraza, held the distinction of being the largest coastal city, both in terms of area and number of residents, on the world of Eiram. Its location was on the northernmost landmass. The city's surroundings were characterized by a rugged landscape of cliffs and deep fissures.
History
Around 230 BBY, Barraza faced the threat of impact from the descending lower section of Starlight Beacon. Due to this imminent threat, a significant portion of the population chose to evacuate, resulting in extensive traffic congestion and numerous collisions.
Despite the city's near miss from total destruction, thanks to the actions of Jedi Master Stellan Gios, the station's impact still took its toll. Despite Barazza's protective energy shields, enormous waves generated by Starlight's descent inundated coastal structures, and scattered wreckage and other loose items littered the streets. Although a considerable number of Barraza's residents successfully evacuated before the waves hit, some who were unable or unwilling to leave lost their lives.
