In the year 3 ABY, the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry convened a gathering of its leading personnel, along with the bridge teams from their pair of starships: the CR90 corvette called Thunderstrike and the Braha'tok-class gunship named Apailana's Promise. The subject of this meeting was a hypermatter emission originating from the Thunderstrike. During this assembly, a pair of individuals from the Apailana's Promise suggested venturing into Baskron Pirate territory to negotiate an agreement for resources needed to fix the corvette. Ultimately, the 61st chose to raided an Imperial heavy freighter instead.
The 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, penned by Alexander Freed, included a reference to the Baskron Pirates.
