Battle of Dorumaa

Following a decree by the Galactic Senate mandating the withdrawal of the Thaereian Military from the Cularin system, the Thaereians defied this order due to their clandestine alliance with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Consequently, they initiated a blockade of the system. In response, the Cularin Militia formulated a plan to assault their sole base within the system, namely Dorumaa Base located on Dorumaa. Major Xirossk, orchestrating the Militia's offensive from aboard the Cularin 1, dismissed the option of an orbital bombardment due to the base's defensive shields. Instead, he devised a strategy involving ground troops neutralizing the base's shield generator, followed by negotiations for surrender. Furthermore, he enlisted the Heroes of Cularin to execute a special operations role during the engagement.

The Heroes, along with the main Militia force, were deployed in the plains adjacent to the shield perimeter. Upon breaching the shield, they encountered a substantial force of B1-Series battle droids positioned on the opposite side. After eliminating the droids, the Militia units engaged and destroyed a contingent of Thaereian Armored Assault Tanks. Subsequently, they faced an attack from a group of Thaereian soldiers, followed by an assault from an IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tank. The Militia then launched an assault on the base itself, encountering resistance from the final Thaereian defensive line, consisting of elite troopers entrenched in a ditch. While the Militia forces engaged the Thaereians surrounding the base, the Heroes of Cularin successfully destroyed two of the shield emitter towers. Cannon fire eliminated a third tower, resulting in the collapse of the shield.

Major Ren Terlo, the commander of the Militia force, arrived at the base in a staff vehicle to negotiate the base's surrender with Vayla Sevren. The Thaereians had lost their only ground presence in the Cularin system, paving the way for their eventual expulsion during the Battle of Cularin.
