The Nagai and the Mandalorian Protectors clashed in a battle at Mandallia early in the Nagai–Tof War. The Mandalore sector was already dotted with Nagai bases when the Mandalorians launched their attack on Mandallia. Despite suffering heavy losses, the Mandalorians succeeded in ousting the Nagai from the world. Not long after this victory, Fenn Shysa discovered that Mandalore was the enemy's next intended target.
