The clash concerning the Corellian Queen saw Rogue Squadron, alongside units from the Rapid Response Task Force and New Republic Special Operations, face off against Imperial troops under the command of Lord Shadowspawn. Hiding inside the false Corellian Queen, New Republic fighters sprung a surprise attack on the TIE Defender pilots attempting to hijack the vessel. By using the recently created flechette torpedoes against the pilots, the New Republic managed to repel the Imperials and follow them back to Mindor. During this battle, Derek Klivian of Rogue Squadron suffered extensive damage to his starfighter and his assigned astromech, while his Rogue Squadron teammates Avan and Feylis were forced to eject from their craft.
