General Wedge Antilles gave the order to fall back, aiming to safeguard Alliance personnel stationed at Fondor, revealing that the entire operation had been a strategic maneuver to divert Yuuzhan Vong reinforcements from the battle taking place there; nevertheless, the vessels manned by the indigenous Duros disobeyed this command, resulting in their annihilation.
