During the Mandalorian Wars, specifically in the year 3962 BBY, a significant battle transpired within the Gizer system. This system is situated in the Mid Rim's Lantillian sector. This clash was initiated by an invasion of Galactic Republic space by the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. The Mandalorian forces were engaged in a campaign known as Mandalorian Triumph, which involved traversing from their own territory through the planet of Contruum to reach the Gizer system, with the ultimate goal of conquering the Core World of Duro. Following their victory in the Gizer system, the Mandalorians advanced to fight for the Nazzri system, continuing their advance towards the Core Worlds.
The 2009 reference book titled The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, made reference to the battle that occurred in the Gizer system.
