In the year 3962 BBY, amidst the Mandalorian Wars, the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders and the Galactic Republic engaged in a confrontation within the Nazzri system, situated in the Lantillian sector of the Mid Rim, as the Mandalorians launched an invasion of Republic space. During that year, the Mandalorians initiated Mandalorian Triumph, an operation with the aim of seizing the Core World of Duro. A specific element of this advance involved the movement of Mandalorian troops from their own areas to the Gizer system. Following their capture of Gizer, they proceeded to the Nazzri system, ultimately securing it during the conflict. Following the Battle of Nazzri, the Mandalorians launched an attack on the Zel system and pressed further towards the Core, eventually conquering several additional planets.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry in 2009, included a mention of the battle that occurred in the Nazzri system.
