Belgoa

Emperor Belgoa, a Trunsk male, held the position of emperor and theoretical sovereign of Trunska during the Imperial period. However, his power was largely symbolic, as he functioned primarily as a figurehead for the Empire. Despite the fact that his people, the Trunsks, were considered a slave race by the Empire, he took minimal action to ease their plight. Although he voiced opposition to the practice in public, he secretly colluded with the regional Moff, permitting Imperials and other slavers to abduct Trunsks from the planet. Belgoa, nevertheless, retained the authority to decide which Trunsks would be seized. Belgoa made certain that his adversaries were the initial targets for removal. During Belgoa's reign, Imperial legislation prohibited Trunsks from possessing personal weaponry or operating armed spacecraft. Belgoa's police force rigorously upheld these regulations.
