A fighter wing, belonging to the Imperial Starfighter Corps, was assigned to the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer known as the Bellicose throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War. This wing, as a part of the forces of the Galactic Empire, was composed of six squadrons, one of which was Beta Squadron. Beta Squadron was first sent out to engage and damage the spy's UT-60D U-wing starfighter/support craft when the Bellicose was in a desperate pursuit of the Rebel Alliance operative.
Commander Tylux, though, committed the entire fighter wing from his command to apprehend the spy. The fighter wing ultimately met its demise due to the perilous circumstances and the spy's defensive maneuvers.
